American Artist Abigail DeVille’s dark sculptural installations reflect themes of social repression, racial identity, and discrimination in the midst of urban decadence.  She warps the time of physical objects, and these objects speak to the infinite expanse of universal time and societal ills of the present moment.  In 2011, she received her MFA in Painting from the Yale School of Art.  In 2013, her work was included in an exhibition of 21 artists who were shortlisted for The Future Generation Art Prize, an official collateral event of the Venice Biennale.
