A documentary that examines the pros and cons of the future of the space exploration industry through the eyes of artists, potential adventure travelers (Bostonian Nigel Bird), scientists (Dr. Paul Joss of MIT), local attorneys (Jack Zanini and Tim Pomarole), and young explorers (a student from Arlington, MA). The film is narrated by former Bostonian Leonard Nimoy. Written, directed, produced, and edited by Maryanne Galvin. Winner of an Indie Spec Special Recognition Award in Documentary at the Boston International Film Festival. http://www.mgproductions.biz (70 minutes, color, 2007) The focus in May at the Boston Public Library's Made in Massachusettes Film Series will be on local artists, including appearances by filmmakers. The filmmakers and/or members of the cast of each film will be present to answer questions about their work after the screenings.
